is the yard only 2 or 3 metres long?

Just realised that the yard is exceptionally small. When you measure distances the yard is only about 3 metres by 3 metres at the most. For a back yard this is exceptionally small. Just the shed is minisule being less than a metre in width.

Yeah I don't think they adequately handled distance in the game. While cm makes sense as a measurement at this scale, I don't think they made things to the proper scale.

THe distance from the mysterious machine to the bird bath, in my game, shows as 6 meters, and that's only a fraction of the yard. Kind of weird that in your game the whole yard is only 3m x 3m

Mine is showing about 2x2 meters. I'm standing nearly in the exact center of the map, and placing a marker at the edge shows that the marker is about 1000 cm away. That gives a width/height of 2 meters in total.

Yeah, the proportions are WAY off for those numbers to be accurate.

Edit: Long day at work, and my brain just kicked in. There are 100 cm in a meter, not 1000. Blargh. The yard is about 20 meters by 20 meters.

Heck, i had a yard in a rental house once that was a cement porch, a small fish pond, and a tiny patch of gravel with a few flowers in it

so the backyard is small, it happens to a lot of people IRL

Ummmm...... 1000 cm is 10 meters, not 1. That makes it 20 meters by 20 meters.
