You can continue playing and exploring until you get 100% of everything in the game if you wish. There is plenty of content and exploration in the game. You'll put in a decent amount of hours into this before you do basically everything and find all the hidden stuff. The game has multiplayer co-op, but that's it. There is friendly fire. That is about as close to pvp as you can get in this game.

So once we 100% the game there would be no real reason to continue playing after that?

Once you beat the story I think thats it. you an reload your save before you finished the story to keep playing in the yard.
I think the only replayable part might be just building structures and bases. And the Mix.Rs. But upgrading gear to max out takes some time. I haven't 100% myself with 1.0 so I can't say how it will be legitimately.

For me, thats okay. I mean. There can only be so much to do. Eventually you have to set your own goals, or you move to another game. That is absolutely okay.

How can you run out of stuff to do in PVP games, it's a pvp game. its in the titel..second I recon you play conan PVE and yes after a while you have the best gear and did all dungeons so it has an end..This is a single player-coop game so yes you will run out of stuff to do if you not heavy into building same as in conan...there is no game in the world that you have endless content best for you is to look for an MMO RPG then even that dries out but has much more content.

I don't know what it entails, but there is an achievement for completing the game and 'getting 100% on the end report card'. So there is stuff to do beyond just the main story in order to achieve that.

I've played almost all MMORPG's lol. Currently playing FFXIV. My point is does it have repeatable endgame content like daily quests, repeatable randomized quests, horde defense etc.

no, however you could spawn waves on ants with Waft Emitter, act the same as the staff from the forest. This game is pretty much similar with the forest (Building, story) but more collectible you might spend most of your time maxing out your stats with "Milk Molar" there are more than 100 of them gathering around the map that's prob the closest to End game content.

Many players will 'challenge' themselves in interesting ways after having played through the game normally a time or two.

Such challenges can range from perma death runs to limitations on weapon and armor types.

So if you are one to take on self imposed challenges you can wring even more play time out of games like this.

And you really should try a perma death run...it makes you change your approach to the game quite a bit.

Depends what you wanna do when you complete the game there is milk molars to find, scabs to find, daily quests from burgl things to buy from the shop you may not have yet, base building, zip lines for quicker movement around the map, the story content has finished, but I dunno you could work on getting every armour set and upgrading them to level 9, you could work on getting every weapon and upgrading them to level 9, you could find all the 20 hidden trinkets, I mean it really depends what your looking for after you have completed the story you could play on medium then play through again on woah (hard) mode

House building is the only end goal survival games, there are no survival games with endless possibilities, unless you include modding.
Nvm there is one game, which is an MMO survival game, called Chimeraland, mobile port basically, probably works better on a phone.
That's the only game that exists, that does what you want, while being a survival game.
