Server ping??
What determines the ping of a shared world? The one who started it?

It shouldnt really be an issue, since my friend has 1 GBIT up and down speed and never packetloss

Any way to troubleshoot it?

The game is peer to peer, so your connection rate to the host, which is the first person who started the game each time you play, so you can change who the host is by having everyone leave the game, and having the person whom you want to host start it first.

Edit to add: You might want to have everyone ping (outside of the game, with a command prompt) each other's ISP to see which of you would make the best host. Unless one of you has a far superior internet connection speed, particularly upload speed, in which case that person should probably host regardless.

I've always been my friends' host in all games from Ark survival to terraria and minecraft, and we've never had the connection problems that you have in grounded

sometimes everyone just falls off the server, or they are all lagging and giving rollback

Yeah this has to have some gameside issues with server management, me and my friends has very stable internet, yet only in this game we get stutter/rubberbanding and "high ping" unusally often

No this is something that is off

I need a developer to answer on this, how can we improve the ping?
We all live literally a few km from eachother and VERY good internet

I am sitting next to my girlfriend in a shared network and receive high ping.

Our group had same issue, we fixed it by trashing stacked items in ant bases. There was like few hundred game items just laying in there.

this solves part of the fps, not the connection
