Gas Mask matz?
Is it just me or is it odd that you need stink bug parts to make the gas mask, but you need the gas mask to counter stink bug's gas attack? I feel like they made the recipe for this item years ago back when stink bug's gas attack wasn't really as strong, it was much more telegraphed and did a fraction of the dmg it does now, but now you kinda need the gas mask to kill stink bugs without having to cheese via breaking their AI.

IMO instead of stink bug parts the gas mask should require bombardier parts.

You shouldn't need more than maybe 3 spears or so, if you don't mind waiting for the spear to fall out of the bug and kite back around to pick it up. A bit of a roundabout solution, but not too bad I think. With an freshly made, unupgraded spear, a single throw did more than a segment of its health.

I got lucky in my current game and got the parts for making it from spider egg sacs.

Stink bugs are actually not all that hard to kill with bow and arrow, just need to keep your distance and watch out for the jumping attack tbh. But yeah, it IS definitely inconvenient and I agree that it doesn't make much sense >_> If you can, try for the ones one the other side of the pond. From what I can see they won't jump on the lilypads so you can lure them that way and kill them easily.
