Is there a way to regenerate health without bandages?
This has been very annoying. I gather as much food and water as I can to roam around collecting resources, but if I get hit theres no regeneration. Whats the point in eating and drinking if you can just make a Lean-To and die then and there for a full heal?

There is a stat on furniture items that is "Coziness" I believe. This goes up from 1 to 5.
This stat will give health regen based on the level of Coziness. All the items have a range of comfort, so you kinda group them all together and BLAM, decent base healing.

Hope this helps. :)

there's a couple of smoothies for health... i keep 'green machine' smoothies with me because the ingredients are easy to get in early game.

one bandage and one green machine will restore most if not all health over a couple minutes.

if you die your armour's durability drastically reduces and there's a an upgrade that you can buy from burg.l that makes bandages only cost 1 sap and 1 fiber so that it's easier to stock up before heading out

i think if you have full water and food you do regen health, not to sure on that, other then making bandages or crafting smoothies to regen your health there is quite an easy smoothie to make as someone else suggested, also if you get the mossy needle weapon that comes with life steal, so you can regen health by killing easy bugs with that like ants and weavels etc etc

I do wish that cooked food or dried food would boost health regen slightly. I do rely on my smoothies and bandages a lot, depending on where i am. I also play single player, so I tend to carry a bunch lol

Bandage healing is very slow and is really only meant to be used outside combat or to be a bit extra regen if you have a sec in combat.

Smoothies are the primary healing source in the game. Green machine smoothies are your best bet for a cheap healing smoothie.

IIRC having full (or nearly full) hunger and thirst gives a very tiny amount of regen as well.

I thought some of solid meals cooked in the oven were giving health regen over time status. Not sure about its name tho. And maybe ive found it buried in sandbox treasure, not cooked by myself.

Basically I think the op wants to know what is best when during a fight your low health and bandages regen so slowly I would suggest smoothies or just running away if your gonna lose a fight because bandages work over time a long time, sometimes it’s best to just give up and run until you have better gear for fighting

Very true. Smoothies are a great idea to craft.

For bandages, when I'm able, i'll use them and try to maintain some distance while its slowly healing me, pop a smoothie and go back to combat. However, I'm not taking on anything that I know would wipe the floor with me

meals (cooked food) grant regeneration. The during depends on the meals tier. 5-20 minutes
Smoothies (any) heal a small chunk of health.

you could ask for the ladybug armor to bring back health regen when the full set is equipped like it used to do. i doubt they'll do it, though. they made that change for a reason. hopefully to put that health regen on the upcoming ladybird armor.

And what do you do, when you just fought a hard fight? Stand around a couple minutes...?
