Do any mods work with new update?

I tried downloading a bunch of mods from nexusmods and none of them are working. They all haven't been updated since the Into The Wood patch.

yea, like any mod for any game, updates break mods and you need to wait for mod creator to update their mods.
its a sadness of mods, that's why modding your game is a "risk" to your savegame :)

In my 70h run, I decided to install some mods today, like: no gas mask effects, better smoothies, or spoil free meals.
None seems to work
In fact, in many many games not all mods break on updates, but a %. Here it seems none of em work, as if they simply changed the folder where to place em.
