Need Help - Water Container - cannot drink out of it.

I crafted 2 Water containers and a canteen. One water container now has juice in it and one has water in it. But no matter what i try i cannot seem to drink out of the water or juice container. Tried scooping out of it - does not work. Tried the slurping button - nothing. Please help.

Equip one of them. Fire! Just like shooting an arrow. Right Trigger if controller.
You can also consume from them like food in your inventory.

I am pc, not controller.
I did try the left button and right button and the E to slurp - does not work. if i just use the mouse button , it hits the water container. But i still cannot drink out of it , even if i equip the canteen. The game has e for dump water into container and E for scoop and it just keeps telling me canteen is empty if i try that way. I cannot equip a water container , its a furniture piece.

tapping E is to dump water in the container, holding E is to get water out of it into your canteen. Works fine for me, even in the BETA...

Have you tried mouse button if equipped? I thought you KB/M people (since Steam is mostly PC) used mice buttons to shoot.

Plake is right, there is a difference between pressing E and holding E.

yeah after you all mentioned it , i held in E and it works. Didnt know you had to hold it in.
