Host friends the other players
Although I believe they can ask to be friended based on your name/id
Host starts multiplayer game
players start the game, answer multiplayer for game type, Grounded will log you in to your account, then - my experience - it will show the host's game and they can join
Be patient getting everyone on board.
Good Luck
If you are friended one to the other that's great.
One starts the game multiplayer, then chooses to host the game.
The other starts multiplayer, then searches for your friends.
My son starts the game, his wife joined on Steam and we were friends already.
I was offered to join his game.
Next time she wasn't there. So the game asked for a name, I typed his xbox live name in - and joined.
Oh yeah, I already had an Xbox Live account and a Windows Live account. I couldn't get them to work. So I started a new account and it worked.
Past that, well. Best of luck.
