Live account "something went wrong"
My wife and I bought the game last week.

She signed up for the microsoft live account and we were able to play coop that night.

We are now trying to load the game tonight for the second time and she keeps getting a message saying "Oops something went wrong" and to try signing in on another browser.

So we did.

Still wont work.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I found the issue. I had to go to account.live.com and fix it.

For some odd reason microsoft locked my wifes account saying she broke terms and services.

How she did this baffles us as she uses this for email for junk and we had just linked it to her live so we could play Grounded.

So when I went to account.live.com and signed in with her acocunt the message popped up that the account had been blocked and to unblock it just set up a phone number and recieve a verification code.

After that the account was unblocked.

Hope this helps you. :)

It's likely because you are both appearing to come from the same ip address, so they assumed you're using windows on same pc.. but on 2 pc's.. because microsoft is stupid.

Okay, so my issue was that there was a cache file that was keeping the error present even after uninstalling the game. once I deleted that cache file and reinstalled the errors cleared and I was able to log in. File location was " C:\Users\ YOURUSERNAMEHERE \AppData\Local\Maine.

I deleted the "Maine" folder and I was gtg. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, but I already fixed it. My issue was different, it was a blocked account that needed a password change and verification code to unblock. After that my wife was able to log in with no issues.

Thanks though im sure that will help someone :)
