Please Add Taming Please.
This game would be really cool if you could tame Bugs or like a salimander/newt frogs. you could use them to attack other bugs. give them armor. you could ride them like a mount.

So much potential here.

Also Bumble Bees, We need Bumble Bee's Ground wasps would be terrifying by the way.

Oh and to add on to my last comment, I think they should allow Spiders to climb walls or obstacles. Standing on a small rock, baseball, or branch shouldn't stop a spider from getting to you since they literally can climb up vertical surfaces in real life. Even up their own strand of webbing! You could add better base defenses, upgrades to the spikes (they're currently pretty useless) and whatnot. Also if you're going to add a new type of spider add the trap door spider. Everyone is gangsta until they see the grass move. Wait till a spider is in your face and it came from underneath!

I agree, riding an ant just like in honey I shrunk the kids would be great, or having one of those little green thingies as a companion, that runs around your shoulders in fear when a bigger bug comes along.

Bees and mosquitoes will be added, obsidian mentioned something:

Imagine flying one of those =D

When i said that it would be nice if we could tame and breed bugs i did not mean we should have it tomorrow......but in future i dont see why not when the map is huge and we got tons of stuff added.

I don't disagree having them down the line, but since I can't foresee what Obsidian has lined up for the future of the game I can only really go off what is currently available. Obviously most people would love to ride around on an aunt or fly around on a bee, but I do disagree with the map being big. It LOOKS big, but it's actually pretty small. It's well designed, so it's fun to explore, but in terms of scope it's not very large. I can literally run from one end to the other (assuming I don't get wrecked by a wolf spider) in a couple minutes. With the bridge I have built that extends from the tree to the bush above the grass I can run across it in the time time it takes my stamina bar to go down about twice. I wouldn't say that's very big. Again well designed, just needs more to it.

That's my opinion though. Opinions are like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. We all have one, and most are full of ♥♥♥♥.

A nice change would be if the lights ever came on in the house, cascading light onto the backyard at night. At this point it feels like the dude that owns the place is dead or shrunk himself. Hopefully we get to go in the house later in the game's life cycle.
The house does shine light onto the area close to it at night from one of the windows, at least I saw it before the last update twice. But yeah, entering the house would be amazing.

As it currently stands, there's no need for a taming system. Perhaps if they were to add more threats and more things to build/craft, I can see a taming system. Personally rather than taming I would rather have a system where you can get worker ants and maybe some other bugs to slowly get you materials or some sort of items passively. But even that Idea is far off.
Rather? Why does it have to be either or? Why not both?
Both would be fine in theory, assuming there was a lot more content to accompany it. Everyone has their own idea what the future of this game will look like, and I am not aware of Obsidian releasing a roadmap of any sort. The only thing we all have in common is that we know what the current state of the game is. A small, but detailed world that is buggy and full of glitches and crashes, and the idea of adding a taming system in the game is hard to fathom for many. Myself included. Not that we're against it, just hard to see considering the only update we've had is a patch that broke the game further.

Oh really? Dang, I guess I never noticed it. Will have to keep my eye out on it more. I guess I pictured more of a switch being flipped and seeing a silhouette moving about. The outside world feels sort of lifeless outside of ambient traffic noises. Like to see maybe someone walk by the fence or just anything to help reinforce how small we are.
I think it would be cool if they added a sort of livestock system like you make a cage and pick it up like grass planks or weed stems and if you use some trap or potential tranquilizer to capture aphids or weevils to breed for meet or production of honeydew I know i'm worried about over hunting and causing a chain reaction in the game which is apparently a thing. I don't know what are yalls thoughts on it.

Its just a personal preference, doesn't mean it can't be both.

i'm pretty sure they eventually add taming, seems logical. (maybe only a few tames like ants and or ladybugs, i don't see em do spiders and other agressive bugs)
Taming and breeding would add a lot of hours of gameplay, i know i had tons of fun taming and breeding in ark when i used to play it.

I dunno about this tbh. I'd like to see mounts perhaps.. or even a little pet or two or maybe an ant carriage to haul stems or something like that.. maybe an ant army to carry/drag my stems for me.. or a hornet multicarrier for 4...or 5.. since the 5th player apparently is coming. Dunno if that means a 5 player coop tho.

Pets to defend the base.. automated/static defences.. dunno. Upto the devs I guess imo.

+1 for the ant carriage
Taming like in Ark is not a good match for this game I think, but if they drastically expand the map over time there should be some kind of a fragile flying mount so this doesn't turn into a hardcore walking simulator.
I don't know, it doesn't really make sense for bugs to be tamed.
Ants and bees would be a big no no, since they are practically hive minds. (unless you became the queen)
Spiders are considerably pest controllers, they kill that they can eat.
Beetles would be fine to mount, I guess.
Maybe we like steal ant egg and hatch it and have an ant pet/mount and stuff like that :)
