Being a SP and hosted Coop game the NPCs should be more persistent rather than RNG spawning mechanics. Makes hunting an actual thing. Just not sure how it's done in this game. There will be an obvious spawn mechanic, but once spawned do they remain or vanish when out of range? Once out of the draw distance is there a background simulation that continues for them?.... I"m pretty sure there is... not sure how much or how it works though.
I stood in that spot and the fourth ladybug carried me majestically to battle with an orb spider.
