Do clays respawn?

Idk how many game days has it been since I mined the clay rocks, I've been going back and forth the areas where I dug them out, and they don't seem to pop right back.

yes, they respawn, but it will take some days. I think around a week, not aure though. If you need clay, go to the south-east area. THere'll you find plenty of clay (and bring at least one quarzite with you to repair your shovel).

I meant the south-east area where the water pump and the blue berry bushes are (not west, sorry). The are a lot of small lakes where clay is abundand.
