All the character are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying really. Mouse and Keyboard plays fine.
I wish I couldn't just made my own character - the characters are very, very annoying and their dialog is awful. You can turn off the sound for the dialog, but - for some reason turning off subtitles doesn't seem to work.

I'm not going down this path of pointing out who owned more slaves.. or if it was right or wrong.. but people living there today are not to blame for yesteryear.. just remember.. it was White people who ended slavery.. and it wasn't us who started it. Don't get hung up on it.. they exist in the world.. it reduces their outlook not yours.

I do agree that the op is probably just trolling.. but it isn't worded in a racist way.. it's a question and the answer to it is "no you don't" I do wonder tho.. if the guy was black and asked if he had to play as a white kid, if you'd all object as much. Confederacy wasn't around for hundreds of years. His avatar isn't about southern heritage, or anything else, specifically it says confederate heritage. Really bending over backwards to defend a troll. It's clearly a bait profile with bait wording skirting what he knows will cause an immediate ban.

It's all about context. You probably got a warning for the manner in which your comment could be taken to mean.. rather than word for word.. see it goes both ways.. I've had so many warnings from steam I've run out of fingers n toes and I still don't know what most of them were for. (Well I do..it's because people don't speak as bluntly as I do because that's how my people speak to each other)

Not in the USA.. but it was.. around for hundreds of years elsewhere... it might well be as you say.. my point is, if you ignore it, it doesn't exist. And if these kinds of discussions upset you, you probably should just ignore it and get on with your life.. banning people won't fix the problem, only education can do that.

He says "I won't apologise for my confed heritage" He isn't saying he preferred that and even if he did, he'd be within his rights to voice his opinion.. it might not be the generally accepted view anymore, but if you want the right to voice your opinion, you have to accept his.
