How do you connect a door to a base??
I've barely started and survived my first night. The game told me to build a shelter before I got eaten, so I decided to build a simple box near the strange device with the lasers. The problem I'm having, though, is that I cannot get a door to connect to the rest of the box.

I've built it 3 x 3, and on one end I left it open to place the door. Whenever I enter the build mode, the door just will not fit into that spot.

Any suggestions?? :mbshaaa:

Nope, thankfully the next time I logged in I was able to place the wall. Must've been a glitch. :ALshockemoji:

Yeah, walls(edit: doors too!) can be quirky as they want to snap into place against both other walls, AND foundations. I find it best to build onto a Foundation first, to save myself the pain of trying to snap against walls! Hope that helps!

I don't have foundations yet, but once I do I found a nice spot I want to build. Can't wait to unlock more stuff now that I have a starting place to return to. :mbpraise:

Just take a few things down and rework it. Should slip into one of the spots, even without Foundations or doors.

Appreciate the response, but as I said in a previous post I was able to place the wall just fine after logging back in. The only conclusion I can come to is it was bugged, because I didn't have to take anything down. Only thing I'm currently missing on my tiny home is some ceiling tiles, but I have to learn those first.
