Game crashing a few seconds after load

Not sure what to do. I just bought the game, and it started to crash after 5-15 minutes of play (currently in the "welcome norman" chapter). I read elsewhere to try verifying the files, did so with no issues found.

Now when I start up the game, I get a few seconds into the load (walking in the office in the police dept) and it crashes.

Every time, there's no error code or anything popping up on screen to indicate the reason for the failure. It just force closes.

hello! i had this problem too - here's how i fixed it.

if you're on windows:
1. open settings

2. search for / type in graphic settings

3. browse for & add your heavy rain installation
if you need help finding where the game is installed - here's one way you can find it
i. go to the game in your steam library
ii. click on the cog wheel (manage)
iii. properties
iv. installed files
v. browse button next to "size of installation" - this should take you to the folder where you downloaded the game

4. click on options

5. set the graphic preference to high performance

Didn’t fix it for me . Still crashes second I hit continue game.

I can´t play! I´m still by the prologue, and after a few actions, the game freeze!! I try to disintalled and Installed the game again, but i get the same problem!
