its again about what you use
headphones?
5.1?
if using headphones make sure to force stereo and 2 only
you are getting the 5.1 fade which exists in modern movies too (music = loud voice=low)
this is meant for 5.1 sound
remove 5.1 from this game as it doesnt use it.. and force STEREO only on a headset or speakers
voices are fine here..
glad you found the work around..
maybe mark your post with answered and put the fix!
others have this issue too!
My issue started when I was playing with my Dualshock 4 plugged in via USB, and then I had one of those shake-the-controller QTE moments, which unplugged the USB temporarily and for some reason ALL the sounds got muted because of that. So I decided to use bluetooth instead and eventually got the sounds back after messing with the in-game sound device settings.
After that all dialogs were quiet, and the above steps fixed it.
glad someone can help
we all had this issue in some form.
but mainly due to 3 bugged cheevs which some can get
the driving part?
well that was mean for a gyro to say tilt left or right
I have tried this about 900 times no hyperbole
never got that cheev
its a wonderful game and used to be company
sadly now...
microsoft owns them
FACE PALM INSERT
I had to switch sound from 5.1 to Stereo but not only in the game also in Realtek! After that it worked halfways properly though the voices still seem a bit lower in volume than they should be; adjusted that by turning down music & sound effects a bit and now it works fine for me!
Maybe it helps someone, just wanted to add it to the list of solutions here for future help!
Best wishes
Also in case someone wants to try this and is looking for the guide it is talked about here (I guess)
It should be that one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2334387883
For me it didn‘t help, also not changing the user-settings.ini
Again - best wishes!
mate
ty
but please do something
google this
its hilarious how many games wont work without LOWERING WINDOWS AUDIO
imo
as a tech
NO ONE uses STUDIO audio
not even AAA devs
nope
only bands and such do..
not, not, games
one such game was oh idk every AC game
mainly valhalla
but this issue is even on older games like Call of juarez
and mafia games, watch dogs, etc etc
the list is thousands of games that CANT use anything higher than dvd audio
so yep thats a fix for MOST games
TLDR?
unless you are a band
ALWAYS turn windows audio bitrate DOWN to dvd at MAX
no higher
ever
