weird analog problem

i was having no problems before today ive logged in atleast 3 different playthroughs for most of the achievements but now today i can not preform the unfolding actions where you shift the analog to one side and spin clockwise or counter clockwise it wont detect it at all... anyone got any help with this issue? im using the new xbox series controller and have been for the last few playthroughs

Same troubles here, with xbox one controller. Tried to swap sticks via profile on Xbox accesories, didnt help, left stick have the same problem. Dont know how to fix it. Gonna play kb/m.

seeming to restart my pc fixed this problem i have no idea why but you can try that

Если еще для вас актуально, поиграл с настройками геймпада в стиме для этой игры, нужно поставить на правый стик в дополнительных настройках, форма мертвой зоны крест, вроде все работает!

If it is still relevant for you, I played with the gamepad settings in the steam for this game, you need to put on the right stick in the advanced settings, the form of the dead zone is a cross, everything seems to work!

В конце темы я кинул скрины, конечно не идеально все стало но лучше чем было.

maybe the translator did bad but enabling advanced settings (whatever that does anyway) didn't work for me.

How did they manage to f*ck up something as basic as this...

I'm having the same problem, tried Xbox 360 controller, PS4 controller, and Xbox one controller and nothing worked. I don't understand what people are saying about analog settings not sure if it's a translation thing or I'm just dumb

found something that worked for me:
- Plug in your controller (I'm using the Xbox-One-Controller)
- go to the Heavy-Rain-page in your library
- open "controller configuration" just below the banner
- click on the settings for the right analogue stick
- there should be something like "additional settings" on the bottom right. Click that
- now in the left column choose the second drop-down menu from the top (Dead Zone Shape). Choose the "cross" option

This fixed the issue for me. Funnily enough, now the game barely runs at all 'cause Quantic Dream doesn't give two f*cks about their PC ports :D

gamepad errors on a quicktime events game is a heavy refund reason for me :T

the gamepad works fine with the CROSS setting as stated but im having another isssue

I alt tabbed out to the guide.. and when i came back it sees only PC kb and mouse.. my controller doesnt work again unless I shut down and restart..

anyone know waah the hell?
