Is remote play together possible?
Beyond Two Souls has the "remote play together" tag on the store page (not talking about the user tags but those that are set by the devs/ publisher). Heavy Rain and Detroit don't have it. Does remote play together still work or is it disabled for some reason?

Heavy Rain doesn't have any multiplayer component to it whatsoever as far as I can recall. Same for Detroit.

I am aware but via remote play it would be possible to let your friend play as well so they could take over the controls. Just wondering if the feature is activated so I can invite someone to remote play...

Ah sorry, ok. Then I'm afraid I don't know. Although, it seems strange for Detroit to say it has it when it's a single-player game (as far as I can remember) and HR and B:TS not to as they are just as single player as anything.

I'd recommend testing with the available demos. There's no reason the feature wouldn't be available in them if it's going to work as it's a STEAM thing, not a game developer feature.

Good idea with the demo, I'll check it out, thanks!
as far as I know the devs have to enable this feature for their games, otherwise it cannot be used

Ok. Steam have been rather quiet on promoting the Remote Play considering how big it could potentially be. I'm not surprised you can find concrete information on it. Good luck!

Remember, if you buy the full game to try, Heavy Rain especially starts quite fast and you should be able to test within 5 minutes of starting. If you stop before you play 2 hours, you can get a refund still via Steam.

I remember when they launched the remote play it was advertised on the main store page with games that support it.
But I think not that many people use it since it has it's issues and you need a decent upload bandwith to be able to use it properly...
sure I am aware of the refund thing, I guess I will just give it a try. Thanks!

Enjoy!

This thread has been too polite and wholesome for an internet forum. Please assume I called you stupid somehow and insulted you for no reason. That will restore order to the universe!

haha yeah it is really rare these days :sadrandy:

also I think I found out why only beyond two souls has the "remote play together". It seems to have some kind of multiplayer where one player takes control of the main protagonist and the other one controls the "ghost" in her head.
The other two games from quantic dreams are strictly singleplayer only.
