Game stuck

Sometimes the game stuck with no reason. The game is actually still working, since I the conversation and music is good, and I can press esc to call the menu, but the image stuck. Anyone has the same issue?

yup. Even went in my nvidia control panel to change the graphics processor. Would love to go through this again without the freezing

same here, it´s just not well optimized, game keeps crashing no matter what you do. I asked for a refund.

I'm having the same issue. I first tried to play it with Steam in big picture mode. I couldn't even get the guy out of bed that time. The next time, I minimized everything and started the game from right clicking my Steam icon in my hidden icons panel. That time I was able to run it up until I had to go look for Shaun.

Uh, hello, so I've been having the same problem (freeze screen but the gameplay continues) and I found a fix! At least it works for me so far :

"Hello everyone, for those who have a picture freezing but the game continues to work (sound and keys respond to pressing, etc.)
Solution:
1) (NOT SURE THIS STEP IS NEEDED) In ​​the game folder, open the file user_setting.ini Change 2 VSync values ​​and VSyncInterval that would be "= 0". It should turn out like this: VSync = 0 VSyncInterval = 0 With these commands we disabled Vertical and unlocked FPS.

2)
2.1) Go to the NVIDIA control panel 2.2) Poke on 3D Parameter Management
2.3) Select the program settings and add the game
2.4) Select the preferred graphics processor Nvidia
2.5) Set the vertical clock to off
2.6) Triple buffering on
2.7) Power management mode, select "Maximum performance mode"

3) Start the game as follows:
3.1) Open the folder with the game
3.2) Right-click on the file HeavyRain.exe
3.3) Run with the GPU => High-performance processor Nvidia

PROFIT, the game is no longer freezed picture tightly) If not difficult tyk + in gratitude :)"

Are you referring to "Vertical Clock" as "Vertical Sync"?
VSync values and VsyncVerticaldoes not exist in the user_setying.ini for me.
I haven't done the step three yet because I want to make sure I'm having stuff right, first
