gtx 960
12gb ram
i deleted the demo
i really dont know if i should get the main game or not the demo was unplayable
i thought it was just a demo thing but seems not
Trying to play games at 4k on a gtx 960? I think thats your problem...
4 k with a GTX 960 and you are wonder about low FPS ?
if you read i said "changed to lower resolution"
and then i said first thing AFTER changing resolution
:)
Your card is definetily to weak to play any game fluid in 4K resolution - especially not through DSR feature.
Try 1080p on highest settings and you should be able to get 60fps with ingame limiting to 60 fps.
im not playing on 4k it was on 1366 x 768 and AS I SAID 30 FPS CAP
PLEASE READ
Aye, i did factor that into my response. You should read again. Doesn't matter if you set the bar back to 720p, 8K, 480p or 360p afterwards.
My guess is, you still have DSR activated in the Nvidia Control Panel and that does change shading settings in a game, no matter if you use a corresponding resolution or not. Go back into the settings panel and turn it off by clicking on "restore", then start the game again and see if that fixes your problem.
i googled and it says "Nvidia introduced with the GeForce GTX 970 and 980 is a feature called Dynamic Super Resolution"
mine is 960, not sure if im dumb and cant find it or dosnt exist
i also have a integrated graphic intel hd 530 which i have never updated its driver EVER
in device manager it says its version is from 2016
BEFORE SAYING GO UPDATE IT:
i got the driver assistant which tells you your specs and gives you the latest driver
and it tells me that i shouldnt update the intel driver and gives me a link to asus website to ask them for the update
i can download the driver for 530 manually but now im scared im gonna make things worse
Aha. Now we're at least getting somewhere. So you ran it on a laptop with a GTX 960M !
Some games have particular issues with mobile graphics cards. Usually an updated version of a driver should be the way to go as a first DIY-attempt. and since the HD 530 only renders GPU applications in desktop mode, and the GTX in 3D applications, it's maybe... - and yes, you didn't want to be reminded, but here it is, anyways - best to check if there is an update for your nvidia card driver.
The latest Version is 446.14, released on the 27th of may 2020. If you haven't installed that driver yet, go ahead and do that.
nvidia is updated
my problem is with the intel driver, should i update it? i wouldve done it an hour ago but it gives a warning im not sure what to do
also my friend told me to update the bios but im not sure thats a good idea
