final boss feels VERY unfair

the eden gate thing feels kinda stupid to fight
most of its attacks have basically ZERO warning before they happen and have NO indicators of where they even are going to hit making the fight feel REALLY bad.
so how am i expected to beat this literal brick wall?

The gate's attacks have some of the most obvious telegraphing in the game. It can get chaotic if you let the guns stack up and stuff starts overlapping, but stuff is definitely telegraphed.

what do you mean letting the guns stack up? i didnt know i could control that
also if im honest my main issue is those purple laser trackery things the boss shoots out.

i know its gonna happen and i know where its gonna start but i cannot figure out where they are going.
i kinda have the same problem with a few other attacks as well like revas diagonal purple attacks (but i know that ones just me being bad)

i take it all back its not just the gate
the final bosses in general are such an absurd difficulty spike that they pretty much ruin the entire damn game
like why should i even try when i know a 40 minute run is going to end by my death to a boss from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ darksouls when the rest of the game isnt even that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard?

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, that one is tracked by a bright line under your character while it charges. It then follows that path when it fires. You can actually destroy the guns by hitting specific parts of the gate.

I'd say "Git gud" but you apparently have no problem with the tier 5 bosses, so props to you. I personally find tier 5 Reva to be much more of a run-killer than the other bosses.

kinda annoying way to end a run but if that means i dont have to fight them i guess thats preferable

It's an optional challenge boss. You aren't "expected" to beat it unless you're going for the extra challenging ending or the challenge character it unlocks.

Yes the bosses are difficult, but that's the point. You just have to learn how to beat them. If you take a look at some videos on Youtube you'll see people beating those bosses without problem.

The shopkeeper is really difficult, but there is a cheat strategy with a single card that you can win easily.

The gate should be the easiest among the three final bosses, given that it's a static opponent and fills the entire backline. Ice Hockey is pretty awesome against this boss, especially with doublecast. Backstab is also pretty good since you'll hit the boss 4 times.

gate also has 27000 health when terrable has only 8000 or so.
hitting it mutiple times means it still lasts way longer

And said Ice Hockey can deal 5-6 times what it can against Terra to Gate. And since Gate is static, you won't miss either. That's why even though it's very chonky, it's easier.

Anything that hits multiple lanes will hit multiple times. That one spell that bounces until it misses also melts the gate. It's not just one card, it's a whole bunch.
