Over 10% of players have already gotten to Eden and it's only been out for a few days. The base speed and difficulty is perfectly acceptable, although an easy mode is welcome for those who can't adapt to it.
This is absolutely my experience too. I'm not super great at twitch-reflex-based games, but this one is definitely learnable with some time and patience. It's all that more rewarding when it does click for you. The first two hours did feel impossible, though.
Making a game that is very difficult for them to beat, yet still making it well-balanced and intentional for its target demographic.
The game gets pretty nuts after a while. Way worse than the initial run, initial run being a bit of a baby mode at this point.
The most important thing to remember is that you have no time limits in battles (or, at least not in most of them), so do not be afraid to take your time, focus on dodging, and using spells after enemies have made their attack.
Granted, this is a bit harder in fights where there are 3+ enemies, or a missile timer is actually counting down for massive damage.
Another useful survival tool is to set phalanx as a card focus and get some shields going. They help a lot with not dying.
After the first loop, she gets nuts. No more brain is needed. LoL
Literally everything about this statement is incorrect -- and FYI, ~10% of players have beaten the game according to achievement. Stop adding toxicity into what is otherwise a decent community.
This doesn't change the fact that people not being able to beat the game in roguelikes isn't that uncommon? Or would you rather use Dead Cells as a comparison?
