Have they announced at all when the BGA for the song will be done? It was the one I was looking forward to the most. Seems a shame they announced and released the pack without it being finished

it was finished until radical feminist who works on animation ruined everything by putting hate symbol inside animation. Not just this game, but other korean games as well such as maplestory,DNF and etc...
because of that, djmax decided to put down animation and working again to make new one,

More like a bunch of whiny manchildren got on a bandwagon because tantrums worked way too well for them in the past. A character making a "love heart" gesture in an animation shouldn't be considered offensive or particularly radical but here we are.

Hmm thats the social Issues for a long time in KR between male and female, just like offend word or gesture in certain country, but the KR one is really hard to avoid ( or you can say easy to Smuggling the in some content)....

The Incident explode recently just affect so many game company and cause lots of money loss, as a foreigner, I can just blessing DJMAX can get through this

AFAIK it isn't a "heart fingers" gesture, more like a "(you have a p***s) this small" finger-pinching gesture, a hand gesture just as offensive in Korea as the Mussolini hand in Italy or the middle finger everywhere in the world. And it wasn't present in Glory MAX BGM, but on another video for ¿Maple Story latest content, maybe? The thing is, the animation studio in charge of Glory Max's BGM ALSO was in charge of that video, and once it was detected by south korean netizens, the controversy was so huge that the artist was cancelled and every company working with that animation studio jumped ship inmediately and scrapped whatever work they had with them, this includes Rocky Studio.

Besides DjMax I also play Magic: The Gathering, and this year we've had our fair share of controversies kinda like this one, where beloved artists are caught on Twitter posting heinous stuff (or doing heinous stuff IRL) and are quickly dropped by Wizards of the Coast and their work is quickly recomissioned to other artists. This is why I understand what happened with Glory MAX and why I still cut Rocky Studio some slack. Whoever calls this "just a tantrum" lives on a self-centered world and probably an echo chamber.

Honestly same, I can be mad at the situation but I can't really be mad at Rocky Studio because that's their main playerbase. I'd rather this than they get cancelled over nonsense.

Except that's not really what happened at all. It's what those angry are saying, but there's a lot of misinformation in their rage very much like the whole gamergate saga years back. Taking what they say at face value really just does an injustice to the innocent people affected, as well as tells the world companies like Nexon and Neowiz bend over to the angry gamer mentality.

It's twitter, so gross by default nowadays, but this thread https://twitter.com/gootarts/status/1728481755940716857 breaks down pretty well what's been going on. Gamers have been lashing out at innocent people over very silly things, and they should not be rewarded for their actions.

it was because the stupid drama basically soars over korea that neowiz/Rocky studio decides that they will be remaking the whole BGA

It is February 2024, there's still no BGA for Glory Max because of conspiracy theories. At this point I'm almost certain we'll never actually GET a BGA which is doubly unfortunate when Glory Max is the icon song of Extension V.

It is March 2024, a Falcom Collaboration DLC has been released. Glory Max still does not have a BGA. It probably will never get one and they're just hoping everyone forgets despite the fact that it's the icon song of an entire major DLC pack and the art from that BGA still plasters and adorns the included theme and gear set.
