Is DJMAX using ASIO? (launch the game, press F10 to open the settings, check if the upper-left corner says "ASIO : ENABLE" underneath the version number or not)
nowadays Game freezes when launched, no warning screen shown, no Xigncode splash shown.
No error dialog shown.

Re-disabling HVCI, re-installing and deleting registry, running XIGNCODE3 Uninstaller, reinstalling VC++redist 2019,etc... ALL TRIES DID NOT ANY EFFECT
No error log something, unknown why tf it became broken, GOD HELP ME OUT
If you're using a keyboard with Cherry linear switches it might actually be the keyboard. I've experienced exactly what you describe in DJMAX, but I always assumed it was either the game bugging or a problem with my technique. I've had it happen in a couple other rhythm games too, but most other games seemed unaffected and typing worked as it should. In osu!mania the problem would often manifest as a combo break on a LN, yet show 0 misses on the results screen.
Eventually I realized the problem only occurs on Cherry linear switches after they've had a moderate amount of use. Sometimes a key would doubletap or drop input for a single frame upon pressing it down completely. It's difficult to confirm the issue due to how fast and inconsistent it can be, but I think it's a shortcoming of the switch design itself; I've experienced the issue on 3 different keyboards, two with Cherry Red switches and one with Cherry Speed switches. They all worked great initially, but after 5 months - 1.5 years of daily use the problem would emerge again.
The most frustrating thing is that the keyboards are otherwise functional and perfectly suitable for 99% of games, so buying another feels wasteful. If your keyboard supports hot swappable keys you could replace only the problematic switches as they wear down. Ultimately, I moved away from Cherry and bought a Wooting. It hasn't given me a single issue in the short while I've had it, but I haven't worn it down enough to firmly recommend it yet. Theoretically the switches should be much more reliable, though.
I've been trying to run this game on my Windows now and it will not let me play. Getting error message in Korean and not in English so I have nothing to work with. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199512284365/screenshots/ <--- error message screen shot.
The Windows 10 Pro is a new install (fresh, not upgraded) using the official Microsoft multi edition ISO from their website. All updates are installed to current.
I downloaded the game fresh through the Steam Client (not using previous files or from Steam Deck), I validated the files after downloading and started. It runs the Xingcode3 all the way through, the game starts and I get the message that I attached here.
The Steam overlay shows on the bottom right corner, Access the Steam Community while playing. Then the overlay stating your friends can join the broadcast. It's not one of those error where something strange is happening and the Steam overlay doesn't even get the chance to show before quitting and the Xing3code gives and error code.
This is totally different as this has nothing to do with Xing3code (I assume since no code was given). The firewall rules allowed DJMax Respect V in my windows setting. I don't have use or have VPN on the network.
I can run this game on Steam Deck (even with Steam overlay and broadcasting on and I'm on the same network using either wi-fi and ethernet) but when I try to play it on Windows I can't play it. It's my first time trying to play this game on Windows. After the error message. I want to start playing before the season 10 starts (which already started)
Until then, I guess I'll have to play it on my Steam Deck, or play DJMax Trilogy instead.
Look, I can play it on my Steam Deck but it caps at 45-50 FPS and it's erratic and not consistent frame rate. I've at my wits end trying to contact the publisher/developers but I'm not signing up for more social network just to find out that they're ignoring payed customer. I bought the complete edition and I was going to buy the season premium but obviously they don't want to be bothered by customers who already gave them money.
If you copy-pasted your DJMAX install, you should uninstall & reinstall the game from Windows Steam directly.
I did do a fresh download, if you can see that I did stated as such. My steam deck files for DJMax is like 26 GB-ish while Windows and Linux outside of Steam OS is the same size.
No, I thought the same thing as what you have suggested and after that error. I had it uninstalled from the copy from my Steam Deck files (even though it did download to the same size on what it should be on Windows). Removed all trace from common folder and appid. Restarted steam for good measures and I downloaded the game from scratch on Windows. Same issue I had with the Steam Deck file (updated after verifying files) and the fresh download.
I even tried to download it on my Batocera.linux but it didn't work so well as it kept crashing straight after Xingcode3 loads.
I just want to play this with stable 60FPS!
Edit: I should mention that my Steam Deck is using BTRFS file format so I don't know why the size is smaller, maybe because the developer made an Steam Deck only version file or it's because BTRFS has the compression that works great with the Steam Deck.
Edit 2: Now that I think of it, I did have both my Windows and Steam Deck logged in so there could've been a delivery mishap but DJMax V doesn't have native Linux files and Proton doesn't affect the game files. Still I will humor you as you're the only one who actually tried helping me since the developer's site is down and Discord no longer accepts new people. I uninstalled Respect and I turned off my wi-fi on my Steam Deck so it's no longer logged in and I am currently installing the game on my Windows gaming machine as I'm typing this.
Edit 3: Nope, same thing again with that error message that I linked before. This has been the 3rd time I re-downloaded this game and I don't think my ISP is going to be very happy if I keep at it.
Sucks that every time I try to send a ticket to https://djmaxrespect.com/cs/index.html that it tells me that it's under maintenance because I'm not getting any help from them and obviously discord isn't working for new members. I feel like I wasted the money on the complete edition. Oh well, I guess the only thing to do is to write a scathing review and no longer buy any more DJMax or NeoWiz titles.
I'm just glad I still have my DJMax Trilogy because I know eventually the Respect V server will be off and no way to play single player.
