xingcode-bypass? What is that? Another shady program you download from an even shadier site to bypass the shady xingcode? Sounds legit! /s

Just don't buy double DRM'ed games. Steam is enough DRM for legit companies.

try googlizing and you'll understand what it is.

I agree on one point, steam has sufficient DRM.

unfortunately steam does not provide a solution to the data pumping of XIGNCODE.
if there are enough of us to find our own solutions, they will ask themselves questions other than "how to prevent them by force".
nintendo is a good example, and it is the richest yet.

Was going to get this game but read about all the anti-pirate stuff. As someone who has thousands of games, that's a no-no for something I actually want to buy. Shame on them, they just lost a sale until they fix it.

"Googlizing" shows the dev suggests unless you study "for at least a year, you have no business trying to bypass". So yeah, as a practical matter, the casuals who "look into it" are the ones will end up downloading a fake program from a shady site after a few hours of frustration.

Games should be fun, not a secondary career path you need to grind first.

My advice? Just don't buy any double DRM'ed games. GOG has tons of great (old) stuff for the more militant buyers, and Steam has enough choices that we can skip the DigiRapiMalware ones. Would be nice if there was a filter we could use to get those games off our feeds though.

Yeah, i was gonna buy the game, but luckily read the reviews. I wishlisted it, but won't get it until they trash that kernel level ♥♥♥♥ that literally can read my whole pc.

Agree with you guys 100%. I won't spend a single yen until they remove XIGNCODE, add single player and offline mode... which could happen... never

I made the mistake of buying this due to Steam's Winter Sale and remembered that it has the program baked in it. I haven't installed it yet but it's sad that the anti-cheat is still included.
