It can also be caused by driver/hardware incompatibilities but I don't think there are problems with driver/hardware conflicting on your end. The symptoms of that are usually stutter/freezing.
If you want to see if you have a driver/hardware incompatibilities, try this to diagnose:

I tried the tool you sent me, here's the result so I guess it's fine on that level : https://ibb.co/tMN67bN
For my specs :
GPU : GTX 1080
CPU : I5-8600k
RAM : 16GB
Motherboard : Asus PRIME Z370-P
I tried to install the generic Windows audio driver instead of the Realtek one lastly, but it didn't work any better...
If not, your hardware is good enough to run djmax smoothly.
How about your audio setup? Are you using something third-party on software like Equalizer APO[sourceforge.net]?
How is your cables setup on audio? Is your audio out on HDMI and then you are just hooking up your headphones/speakers on the monitor?
It's very limited.
If you go beyond 60 fps it will lose sync pretty easly.
I'm not using any weird setup, I have a Logitech G430 headset. The offset is always about 80ms
I'll try locking my FPS to 60 when I'll be home and I'll come back to you
False. Try all the settings and use the one that works best for your computer. There's no such setting that *always* works better than other settings.
V Sync 144hz, GPU cap at 144hz with game set to 240, 120hz, 240hz, all settings I've used on various devices.
hmmm, I don't know now. Audio out through HDMI is the last thing I can think of that can introduce a constant delay.
I really don't know what to say other than I feel this is a publisher problem and will be resolved only if Neowiz puts the time into fixing the incurred latency on the tracks present with their hit sounds.
EDIT: heres a video i found regarding this offset problem whilst researching this issue further.
