How to play 5B middle notes
I'm really struggling to FC some of the lower star songs simply because they have multiple middle button notes that require you (I'm guessing) to use both middle buttons in combination with each other. Sometimes I can mash one middle button fast enough but I think it's meant to be done with two.
The problem I have is that if I switch my fingers over to tap both middle buttons I'm unable to get my fingers back into place on the normal button layout and I miss notes. Does anyone have any advice other than to make my fingers work better?

I believe the most common way to play is just using the 6B cause the game expects you to have 2 buttons for the middle notes, still its one of the most awkard layouts for me

Either play like a 6B layout with playing alternatively the middle keys (for instance D and K on a ASD/KL; layout) or use Spacebar with both thumbs alternatively to play the middle button...

I have my keyboard set up for 5B as follows

D F G+H (both for middle note) J K

If I was playing on a beatmania controller where there was only the big buttons to press it would be fine, but because the above keys are surrounded by an alphabet's worth of other keys I'm always prone to going back to the wrong buttons. I prefer 6B for this reason alone but I love 5B also if it wasn't for these annoying multiple middle note patterns :(

Oh wow this is a great idea! That way I don't have to let go of the main keys, I didn't realise I could set both middle buttons to one key (spacebar) so I'm definitely going to give that a try - thanks a lot!
