built in mods

There should be a check box in the settings menu that enables mods built in to vanilla btd6.
It's way easier than downloading mods and less risky if ninja kiwi makes a modded version of pubs which you can only play if you have the check box ticked. Lets try and make Ninja Kiwi see this.

Personally I believe that it would be better for built-in mods to be available only on Sandbox.

I'm not sure I know either. But I can say that NK will be adding official mod support soon

i think what he meant by is that mods can only be used exclusivly in sandbox things or only in offline

He is saying it would do exactly what the leaf already does, but be easy to toggle mods on/off because its in-game. I don't think he realizes that's the ask here, and this is probably where mod-support is going to land when the patch comes if its anything more than just providing an api. The difference would be in how easy it would be to use in-game, which should reduce the frequency of manual modding that may or not be detected, in turn cutting down the frequency of modded players screwing ♥♥♥♥ up for vanilla players (not that its very common atm).
