'Chad Sandbox Enthusiasts'? xD
I just tried for the first time ever to use the sandbox. I'm new AF to this game, and so finally wanted to see some of those special towers in action. When I found out I couldn't use them there, I looked into it, only to find they were blocked for some reason. So I made a post about how stupid it is. I sincerely hope not liking something and being willing to say so doesn't make me a 'chad'. xD
i never defended the challenge editor, i merely pointed out the best option (aside from modding) for testing out paragons and VTSG.
Doesn't matter if you are a chad. The impossible (by programming) is still impossible. I don't see any of those "chad" managing to get a paragon in sandbox. If using out of box thinking like smart people make us "cringe", then go ahead. In the end, we all know who is he fool and who is using his brain.
Let's also ignore your pathetic attempt at acting like a mature person talking about "virginity".
If y'all could all maybe stop fighting in my thread about this, I would appreciate it. It's not nice the way they phrased it, for sure, but it also isn't helping that you're refusing to let it go. If you're that insulted by his words, then report him and move on to another thread please.
This was just to mention that I felt it was stupid to not allow paragons; not to start up people arguing.
Now back on topic:
As a software developer, I was a bit disappointed when I realized that paragons don't work in the sandbox, but not surprised at all. I think the premise of this thread is slightly off. 'Banning' paragons from the sandbox implies that someone decided to do something to ensure that you can't use paragons there. But given how different the sandbox interface is compared to the normal one, I am pretty sure it's the other way round: When they implemented paragons in game mode, they would have had to spend extra time on implementing and testing them in sandbox mode as well. Even if they initially planned to do this, it's likely that they deferred it until they could be sure the paragon feature had converged, to prevent having to make any later updates in two places. In any case, they seem to have decided that it's not the best use of their time. The existence of the work-around proposed by randomguy (using the challenge editor) probably factors into why they made this decision and haven't changed it so far.
