btd6+ issues

Here's the deal. I had been playing btd6+ (the apple arcade version) of the game ever since it's release. However, it is impossible to sync btd6 and btd6+.

So here lies my question: If I use mods such as infinite monkey money, infinite exp, or infinite monkey knowledge, will my account be banned? I only want to use these exploits to get back all of my data, so if anybody with more experience on the topic could clear this up for me i'd appreciate it!

Yes you 100% will. The ban is only for online features though. You can tell because banned players have a leaf on their settings icon

you get put in a special cheater pool and banned from all forms of leaderboards i think is how it works, after modding your game in any way.

There are 2 types of pools really. One that you're put in whenever the game detects that you've modded the game at all, which isn't really bad because you can just disable the mods to get out of it (this also doesn't have the leaves on it)

Then there's the cheater/hacker pool (the ban with leaves on it). You get put in this pool for cheating in general. Unless you were wrongfully put in it, you can't get your account out of it

the reason BTD6+ doesn't sync with the normal BTD6 game is because the progression is greatly accelerated in that version.

Not entirely. Most mods are Ok, but certain ones like the ones you mentioned, infinite monkey money, infinite exp, or infinite monkey knowledge, those will get you banned because it is a form of cheating.

You also could get banned for using mods in certain modes even if you are online. For example, if you have mods active while doing a CHIMPS run, the game may flag your account with the leaves and halt all of your achievement progress in the game
