yeah, i'm noticing it's a bit worst than most other paragons

like even the Dart is outdoing it and that's 50k cheaper

I thought it was fine. You can use Ninja Paragon to grant it camo detection, but without that it's usually pretty easy/cheap to deploy either xx3 Wizard, 3xx Sub, or 3xx Ice (5xx Ice synergizes really well with Tack towers). The two abilities seem fine too, and the larger-AoE ability recharges pretty fast. I'd guess the clincher is whether or not you can get the paragon in an area with lots of coverage, since his normal area of effect isn't very large. If you're going for all the Paragons, then an advantage of Tack is that with its smallish AoE, it won't take many pops away from other towers trying to grow their own Paragons if you place the Tack further down the track.
