Is the new update going to destroy BTD 6?

New update nerfed every single paragon's pierce per degree by 90% to fit in the new paragon design

New update is just sticking their toe in the water to see if they can force a collab DLC

Are we about to watch as all previous stuff becomes obsolete and pay to win mechanics take over? DLC is the last thing the game needs. If anything they should be looking at BTD7 and absolutely not a DLC focused on some themed gig as they shove in pay to win mechanics.

Its fine, but the game is getting too stale, it has been out for quite a while already.
The biggest reason i got back and i am still playing is for the achievements that i grind a bit on my free time.
BTD6 is a very good game, but games dont last forever, everything gets borring at a certain point.

They are trying to get more money from players. Nothing wrong with that. Developers cost money, and keeping servers running and everything. As long as we have chimps and competitive kept out of buy to play mechanics, its fine. Il buy few of these cat powers just to show it off in casual games.

Its a weird cash grab and many will fall for it. I would not say its the end, but it could be "the beginning of the end", and not in a "this game will die" sense, but in a "this game will turn into mobile game like scam" sense.

Time will tell. Its not over, but it is certainly a step in the wrong direction that will increase short time profits which could lead to more bs like that.
