Rogue Legends a bit too hard
Not worth this price currently, bosses are INSANELY HARD at level 4 and 5, hard to get useful artifacts and each encounter is too long. Also a bug that the achievements for rouge legends just keeps rewinding and the little match that is rewarded seems to have zero use right now. Picking artifacts at the beginning of the game with only 9 available energy is too little, and dying after a match rewards you with nothing. Unlike many rouges which allows you to become stronger with each new round, there is no sign of this yet in rouge legends.

The main thing that I wonder is will the double cash mode incorporate with Rouge legends. I bought it simply for rogue legends to be easier but it seems like it is automatically disabled in rogue legends right now.

I wouldn't mind the difficulty if there was *some* kind of internal progression system. Sure you can send back artifacts, but the 9 energy limit really stifles anything there. Even something as simple as increased starting money would go a long way. Upgraded monkeys through the camp basically are worthless because you never start with enough money to actually USE them, and then there aren't enough rounds in the tile to get enough money for them.

I think that the idea of sending artifacts is great but the energy limit destroyed everything lol
Also I hope they add unlimited reroll for the first campfire recruitment so that we don't have to restart and keep watching the boss animation and such stuff. It'd be great if those matches from the achievement can be used on things such as adding the initial energy limit and stuff like that

Yeah, I think the big thing this game mode needs is the ability to actually customize your starting monkeys. I'm fine with having *some* limitations based on what hero you're using, but locking it behind skin choice is insane, especially when it costs monkey money to unlock them.

They need something similar to monkey knowledge, the more runs you play the higher level you get and you can get perks based on that, like more starting artifact energy or reduced build costs of monkeys (so you can actually USE the upgraded tiers.)

its understandable that rouge legends might be hard but that's because its a rougelite. rougelites and rougelikes are hard on purpose. you are supposed to fail again and again, but that's okay because you will eventually learn why you failed, and this experience will help you become a better player. as you play more runs, you start to realize the things you could have done differently. im not trying to discourage you. really im not. im just trying to explain why its hard. you can do it. :btd6thumbsup:

rogue legends is hard because it's not balanced. which frankly is par for the course for NK, nothing they've launched since btd6 was balanced day 1, and also why I know they'll balance it and make it better with time

Thanks for your encouragement! I mainly wanted to point out some things that could've turned out better for rouge legends, including the balance right now that I believe will change. I think one thing that they could make better is to reward players with permanent buffs each run so that it is rewarding enough even if you fail a run. Right now it's a bit unsatisfactory as there's no reward each run except extracting artifacts, but the 9 energy limit really stops this mechanism from reaching its full potential.
I seem to always drown in regrow bloons even when I do not have a l2g alchemist front.
No idea what to do against dozens of zebra regrows.

It is so frustrating playing through 10 or more maps only to loose right before the boss because of an insane amount of bloons.

The hardest thing for me here is not the bloons themselves but that the rounds start already at round 15 or more, so I need to get stuff from the get go against fortified moabs then next round camo lead regrows then next round tons of zebra regrows.

I have a few towers that I could build here, but the fact that even when the game starts in an already advanced round, I still have to wait 4 rounds until I can build the same tower again, makes the game so frustrating.
Why not let me start on round 1 every time, or simply make the time between rebuys shorter.
Or at least let me sell towers and then rebuy them with a different setting instead of letting me wait for 4 rounds every time.
