Etienne or Adora?

As the title says, i need to determine which of them to buy. Etienne's level 8 ability would be helpful for me since I sometimes forget to place monkey villages, but that's all I know about them.

It really doesn't matter. You don't need any specific hero to succeed and you'll get them all eventually. It's probably fine to base your decision on your information right now, honestly. If Etienne sounds cool, he's the right pick for you.

adora is considered one of the strongest heroes, but if you use her be prepared to dedicate fully to her, much like she dedicates fully to the sun temple. she is strongest when the player sacrifices towers to her to boost her to lvl 20 early.

Both are somewhat weak early but get better as the game goes on, in different ways.

Etienne is more supportive, completely negating camo, still does fine damage that's pseudo-global. Great cleanup for tight formations, or annoying maps.

Adora is a mini Sun Temple that boosts Sun monkeys. At at her full power she can supposedly solo B.A.Ds. On top of her own power she buffs Sun Towers with the same buff she gets from a sacrifice. But she requires a lot of support. On top of her massive exp needs (1.7 more than standard), requiring sacrifices, she needs help with camo and purples. (side note does she benefit from the Sun Breaks Purple MK?)

Eteinne i'd say is amazing, he levels up decently quick and it's like having a mini-flying-fortress/spectre on guard at any time. + camo detection.

I always use Eteinne. You are 100% right that his lvl 8 is AMAZING. I don't usually use villages because I go ninja and a 4-0-2 wizard as my mains. But with Etienne I can go 4-2-0 wizard which helps me early on with lead. His second ability is solid too in my opinion.

I rarely need to worry much about camo detection (not so much because I'm good as because of the parts of the game I favor), so I use Adora more often (and Elizi more often than her), but Etienne works.

Personally I took Etienne since when you put it early, he gets to level 8 in time for the camo bloons global protection. His level 10 ability is great to use at certain point of the game, including wave 80 or 100 where you really want to give it all for the big moabs. I once did a game on the map spillway with our heroes placed in similar spot but opposed from each other, and at the end of the game I had more kills than adora but I used the extra drones ability often and the airstrike too. I havent tried adora but from what I seen its a hero I would want in my team.

if I had to choose all heroes for a 4 people coop game, I think I would take Etienne,Benjamin,Greenfoot and Adora

I would like to add that etienne is special abilities are really usefull and last long enough for waves where you want to play it safe when your banks are 1-2 waves from being full, you activate the airstrike if you have it or the drones if its gonna be enough and in a lot of case it can offer that protection for those moment when you are like : ''go big or go home'' with your banks saving

I would recommend Etienne.

Why?
Global Camo at level 8.
Lvl 10 very powerful, permanent at lvl 20 with extra strong ability.

Adora doesn't really fit into the meta right now, she doesn't provide any sort of useful utility, her lvl 10 ball can't even do enough damage to pop the outer layer of a BFB until she is around lvl 17.

You're going to want to stick with Etienne for now, for his global camo and insane dps output. Until we see more buffs for Adora, she's not on the level of Etienne.

Just bought Etienne myself and I can confirm he is very good and fun to use. Opens up more variety with builds as well with the global camo detection.

Agree. Adora sux simply because she provides no support and is easily outclassed by Churchill of the same level, and they are both DPS type.
