Depends on if you play harder maps or only easy ones.
You can not survive maps like "Geared" without utilizing certain setups. Depending on patch changes where a single upgrade costs 150 more you can not even beat it with a previous setup which worked fine.
So no: there is a "best way" for certain maps, which you can not substitute without drastically lowering your odds of survival. Especially harder maps with multiply paths utilize multiple sniper monkeys you never touch outside of surviving the early rounds.
