Data not crossing over
Played BTD6 on a device for a good while, then installed it with same steam account on this new device and none of my data has transferred over, is this a bug or can I not transfer over data?

no mobile/pc crossover, and if you didn't set up an NK account, you can't switch devices.

you can use the linking code if you still have access to the device with the old save. If not contact devs

I figured this out the hard way. I had almost everything unlocked as far as tower upgrades go and most of the maps too until I had to switch computers.

Can someone explain to me what is the issue?

I have NK one account. That account is:

1) connected to my "Steam" account
2) connected to my "Google Playstore" account

My phone and Steam copy are both connected to that one single NinjaKiwi account.

When I play on my phone I get asked if which save file version I want to use: the most updated one on their online servers or the save file on my phone. Same thing for my Steam Copy.

So yes: there is cross progression.

So once again: what is the issue? Which steps didn't you do?

I thought it was saving to the Steam Cloud so I didn't make an account. Pretty obvious in hindsight lol.

mobile is not the steam version, so if you start there then come to PC, you cannot port in that direction, only the other way around unless someone else finds a way to manually do this.

once again: create a NinjaKiwi account and link your account on it/log yourself into that account from those devices you play on.

It will automatically sync. It doesn't matter if it's from mobile to pc, pc to mobile, etc.
