interesting but yeah i have no comment i feel a bit dumb
i know it looked like i answered my own question but i didn't believe it or didn't believe it could be a mix
so that's where their money is coming from idk
Digital currencies and in-app goods (AKA microtransactions) accounted for $42 million (~47% of all revenue).
Revenue from the sales of games accounted for $27 million (~30% of all revenue).
The rest appears to come from subscription-based game services.
company was the worst word to use but i meant btd specifically because the micro transactions are really unnecessary, i didn't believe anyone would buy them and was confused at how alive it is
new monkey, hero and boss in a few months
still dumb i know
this makes more sense either way
btd alone? cuz that's basically all i see on their steam page
damn
Monkey city was an ios cashgrab that probably kept them afloat for a while before btd5 came out.
BTD battles 1 was the best, with the pvp card game mode i would play for hours, its like they got enough money from btd5 and monkey city to give the fans a great fun free game.
I think btd6 is the last in the main series, they just keep updating it and it has so much content and achievements to earn.
There's a new 'free' bloons game coming to ios you can pre-register with google play. Check ninjakiwis official site.
My two sons who also play bought me a real cool pullover ('hoody' depending on where you live) that's actually pretty warm and nicer than it even looked, and we each have our own (coffee) mug, same with my wife.
Other players must be picking up the tab for the rest of us
