How to get Lots of pops easily?

I came back from a long time and restarted, what monkey should i get first and how to easily get pops for dartgunner,beast handler and mermonkey

If you haven't made any of the paragons in a regular game, you could get a Hard medal you haven't done yet while aiming to make those. That will you use them in sandbox/challenge editor (i forget which). I did that for mermaid. Probably could split it up, maybe 2 paragons each game or something.

hmm, i've started playing several years ago, and maybe missed the change, is it required to get high amount of pops to unlock every tower? that would explain why some players are so greedy for the pops in co-op, and i should stop seeing them as dumb :)

Farm hard in the early game, build a ton of paragons and a true sun god/vengeful, afk.

Repeat.

edit: If you haven't unlocked all the tower upgrades yet I'd just play to unlock those upgrades first.

It's not a "tutorial", it's a challenge. And it works. 5 rounds, 50 MOAB-class bloons each, 1M pops when you finish it succesfully. You only need complete it 3 times to get mermonkey.

it does not. It was specifically in the patch notes that it no longer works.

The best solution to get the pops is to start a regrow farm.
