if u didnt have money to buy hut just get UAV monkey hero lvl 8 then use anti missile moab.
superglue for moab is fine too.
2-4-0 missiles are ok for this job?
which path should i use for glue monkey
DDTs have the black, lead, and camo bloon properties. (On top of that it has pink for speed)
Beware that the black part will reduce your moab assassin damage and resist your normal moab mauler attacks.
Use MIB (030 village) to eliminate all bloon property effects for towers in range or use a tower like 502 wizard which does not care about any property except for "purple".
No don't use 500 ice tower, it will not work unless you have another tower that can quickly capitalize the damage increase from the ice tower. If you insist on using the ice tower, use 025 which can stunlock ddts and give your capable towers time to kill them. Otherwise, just use that same money for another tower/combo that can deal very high DPS across large groups (example: 250 boomerang + 030 village).
Make sure you have camo detection if you don't already. You can achieve this by: buying a tower's upgrade that gives detection, using a 020 village to give detection to nearby towers, using Etienne (lvl8), or by revealing camo bloons with things like 400 sub or 003 wizard.
This is a general tip, use 420 alchemist if you can afford it. Its +2 atk from stronger stimulant and +1 moab/ceramic attack from acidic mixture goes a long way for anyone using it. On top of that, stronger stimulant gives attack range and speed.
Mess around with towers in sandbox and see what works best.

The main things to know are its properties:
"The D.D.T. has the properties of the Lead, Black, Pink, and Camo Bloon" - wiki
Some of buffs to consider:
x/3/x village gives camo and can pop all types, as long as it can already target moab class.
2/x/x alch gives lead popping
Level 4+ Gwendolin's Heat it Up (lead buff)
Level 8+ Admiral Brickell's Naval Tactics (camo buff)
Level 5+ Similarly, Striker Jones (lead buff for explosives, 50% chance)
Level 8+ Etienne (global camo buff)
And go into sandbox to test.
Either having burst damage, insta-destroy ability or slowdown helps.
Things like Icicle Impale or Bloon Crush are usually overkill, depending on map and modes, spending as minimum as you can is often your concern.
Always go for 0-1-3. 0-2-3 or 0-2-4 is okay, but depending on budget.
0-4-0 Ninja is also solid, just don't randomly activate the ability.
2-0-4 Boomerangs and 0-1-3 Heli also do their job. Just not something heavily reliable.
Why? As I said, look at how they spawned.
Sub-Commander buffed Pre-emptive Strike guarantee to clear up to R99's FDDT.
0-4-0 and unbuffed Pre-emptive Strike can clear non-fortified DDT.

Lead for sharp 🔪 immunity, meaning anything that is a dart, tack, nail, or spike won’t work.
Black for explosive immunity, meaning anything that has an 🧨 for an attack won’t work.
Camo 🥷 for stealth properties, meaning the few towers that have the right damage types will miss it without camo detection buffs or upgrades which are usually on weaker paths.
Moab-level health, 💪 ❤️ meaning it takes a ton of non-sharp 🔪,non- 🧨 damage quickly or a decent amount of track to defeat
Pink for speed 🥾,meaning it can quickly move past your “choke point” defenses and get to exposed areas of your track. This also allows it to completely nullify the “shattering shells” mortars, which are able to remove camo. This means unless you have several dozen $1000s to spend on multiple x/x/4 mortars, and a good loop where the bomb simply cannot miss, they will not be able to hit the ddt.
Your only defense against DDT’s is typically expensive energy based attacks, like super monkey plasma and mib villages. Spike mines are surprisingly effective at stopping a few DDT’s , but if you get a sustained rush of them like level 99 this strategy will fail.
TL;DR DDT’s are:
🔪🚫🧨🚫🥷✅🥾✅💪❤️✅ and your only hope is a ton of high level towers crammed near a choked area of the map crammed near a mib village.
They’re extremely expensive to deal with and you will rarely have enough $$$ to buy what you need since cash flow drops to pathetic level after about round 50.
There are too many alternative thanks to tons of tower patch. Like Sky Shredder and Carrier Flagship, both undervalued before having the ability to pop DDT before patches.
Even Primary line works well too. The problem is most likely the map layout itself...
Flasgship isn’t going to cut it on dry maps, or maps where the water is too far away from the track to matter.it also requires camo detection to work, which means an extra $5000+ sunk in a village.
....uh-oh, I was lucky enough to have the cash to BUY this, but there’s nowhere I can fit the village near the ship.
Primaries are sharps and bombs, which fail, and the glue monkey can’t really damage the DDT’s (and that’s IF it manages to hit ) and requires camo detection.
The ice monkey is commonly suggested but I’ve never been able to make it work. Maybe I’m missing something? The DDT’s get stopped for like half a second and then steamroll its range.
No matter how you look at it DDT’s cross the line from being challenging to deal with to just being a pain in the backside. CHIMPS especially
Why must always think about brute force and damage? Do you know applying debuff is often a way to turn the table? Otherwise why MOAB Glue received a nerf?
Decent Primary Tier 5 can pops leads/DDT. Tackzone > Inferno Ring is a popular strategy. Worth to pay for a 3-2-0 Village or even a 5-2-0 Village to buff them up. 2-5-0 Permacharge activated ability isn't a joke, or just purchase 0-5-2 to focus on Strong. Super Brittle helps, synergize with most Primary Tier 5.
Even Permabrew Super Monkey Fan Club works... Paying for a camo Village is not a big deal here. Why? Top path can buff Primary, MIB isn't necessary. Save more money.
But what matters the most is map layout itself. MIB and certain Magic Monkey upgrade could be costly to afford, especially playing in CHIMPS. So, establishing a second layer of "Knowledge" helps. It also adds in fun factor rather than treating CHIMPS medals is a boring grind with only high tier Magic Monkey.
I swear, I see this same thread ever week. Just try searching "DDT" in the search bar; Is it really that hard?
