COOP Chimps: What are some good strats?
I have tried things from giving coop partner all money and doing single player chimps strats. We have tried things like dropping a benjamen and focusing on primary monkeys. We can get to round 97 but usually fail to get enough money to get critical upgrades in time.

Are there any good strats that work for this mode?

Well, uh, Benjamin is kinda the worst hero by far in CHIMPS, so definitely use him. Of course, that one cut won't cut it. In co-op, donating is still key, but you'll want to minimize it which certain strats can do easily. Any spam strat works very well in co-op, so I'd recommend Striker Jones + Maulers, Grandmaster Ninja + Shinobis, or Sub Commander + Ballistics/Triple Guns/Armor Piercing Darts. Figure out what works for you and your partner.

Benji is not good for chimps. Cheaper heroes tend to be better choices for Chimps.

There are lot of ways to do chimps as you can win chimps with 20 ninjas as an example.

Generally what people focus on is a super powerful tower that is dynamic such as an apache or an arch mage with some support from alchemists/monkey villages for solo. This of course is much harder in Co-Op because you are in a half-cash state.

Cheaper win methods are focusing on keeping bloons in place such as 0/2/4 spam with rang-monkies or slow down with glue.

If you have water I generally recommend water monkies over most others as subs tend to be the cheapest and most effective monkies with 2/0/3.

I've worked with partners who will focus on 1 tower such as an apache and they /only/ do the apache while I handle all the minor stuff. By doing things like this 1 person can save and spend to get to the ultra powerful tower as the other person focuses on spending on light-hearted items.

This of course doesn't work for chimp matches on things like Ouch where you need the partner to participate by putting down regular dart monkies to survive early rounds.

204 is better, even in a cost-sensitive environment. The extra knockback makes for a decent uptick in performance.

The thing with Co-Op (essentially Half-Cash) and CHIMPS is the eco strategy could essentially be the same: build up a reasonably cheap defense and focus all your energy on how you would tackle rounds 90-100.

Some reliable methods I used for CHIMPS wins was using Striker Jones and Recursive Cluster Spam/Biggest One. My partner would tend to focus MOAB damage and early game with Bloonjitsu/Archmage while using Obyn.

You can really use the two heroes aspect of Co-Op to your advantage for all sorts of strategies. Even two Obyns makes a really relaxing early game.

If I wanted to cooperate better with my partner, I would send/receive money a lot more. Either it be for late game DPS like Avatar of Wrath or Apache Prime, support towers like Alch buffs, Unstable Concoction, MOAB Press or even early game like Triple Guns subs.

Since defense can be unfocused when divided, it's important to think about countering very specific rounds like Sabotage for DDT rounds or MOAB Eliminator for round 100.
