Today's challenge

I feel like it's extremely common to have a map where it's all camo, and they don't let you use camo towers. The bloons escape before any abilities can get ready. No powers or instas allowed.

How do you beat these levels?

5xx Wizard can use Shimmer. There's several upgrades with undocumented effects, the Challenge makers seem to like using those. Check the online wiki when the next challenge seems unsolvable, and start by researching whatever T5 upgrades are allowed.

Weeeiiiiird you're right! I never knew the 5xx wizard could use the bottom tier ability without mentioning it in the description. That's helpful thanks.

+1 on Ethan Reid. He's fantastic; one of the few who knows enough to be humble and who experiments with different approaches. The longer I've played the less I need to look up challenges (the themes tend to repeat over time) but it's always nice to know there's a parachute for when I do get stuck.

See I've tried checking it, multiple times now, later on in the day, and found nothing. I see "some" solves for the challenges, but it seems like he doesn't do many of them. Which is fine! I'm glad he does some for sure, but I've tried a few times now, and each time he didn't have the one I needed. Still useful though, and I'll definitely check back more often I guess.

Hey! Usually these challenges also have monkeys that have explicit camo detection paths being restricted. If you have spare time, maybe you could try brute-forcing the possible monkeys and their paths through process of elimination.

However, there are also towers that have camo detection that isn't quite explicit. A good example being Wizard Monkey 5XX. It has built-in shimmer. I don't know if this is still the case for Tack Shooter 5XX.

That's weird, because I check most days (even if I figure out a challenge on my own, I usually look, just to see what he did) and it seems like he posts a solution every day (and usually not too long after the challenge goes live). FWIW, I usually just Google "bloons td 6 advanced challenge" and his latest video is usually the first result.
