I've got in this similiar situation as you, where I have 4 choices of heroes and I don't know what to buy first, and I even made a post about it, but half of the people telled that it just depends. However, I've made my choice and decided to bought Admiral Brickell.
In my opinion, you should buy Adora. She may level slowly but she's way better than Ezili.
Her level 7 ability is useless. "Do you need to buff your towers? No worries! Spend some HPs to get a random totem to buff them!" Why am I need to spend my HP just to buff my towers? Maybe trigger the Bomb Storm from Bomb Blitz? I would rather tank my HP for a unreasonal bloon swarm then wasting it just for the bomb storm.
Ezili's level 10 ability, however, will be perfect to destroy MOABs, since they will prevent their childrens to spawn. That's the only ability of her that at least have a good use.
So, in summary, Ezili is only good for MOABs or probably a small swarm of bloons. But I don't recommend to get her unless you're having problems in ABR where there is no good place for Sauda.
Adora levels up slowly, so if you want to make her gain XP faster, then look no further than the rip-off of 4-4 Wizard Lord from BTD5: Blood Sacrifice! Use it on your expensive tower that you hardly worked to get it, and Adora will level up faster! Also temporary buffing her. Having Adora is like doing the Wizard Lord special challenge from BTD5. So if you want to make Adora get to higher levels faster, then sacrifice your hard worked towers.
Adora's level 10 ability is like the 4-X-X Druid but stronger and flies around the map instead of going straigh. Cool ability, it's sad that I didn't bought her but Brickell will surely help me a lot.
In summary, Adora will help you a lot if you time her abilities correctly. You gonna need to give buffs for her to maximize her damage, however.
Also, does it means that you got your choice on which one you gonna buy? I kinda understand on what you mean about your final decision, but I didn't understand on what you gonna really buy after.
Ezili is literally just her using Moab Hex on BFBs before Freeplay, and using Moab Hex on ZOMGs during Freeplay-100. Being able to ignore the RBE of all the ZOMGs on something like round 98 is really strong.
Because Ninja Kiwi hasn't made a tutorial for them.. not yet at least.
1) Ezili's totem only takes 1 life later, so depending on your MK, you can regain that with farms or druids easily. The totem provides quite a strong buff for wizards, and losing more lives earlier can be a decent buff for bottom path Druids. It's mainly a problem when you're new to a track or difficulty and you're not sure how many lives you might lose by accident.
2) Adora's Blood Sacrifice affects all top path Super Monkeys (tier 3+), the buff lasts longer than the cooldown, and only needs the sacrifice of a tower worth about $2k (according to the wiki), so she makes for a great hero in very high levels (I've had mine buffing about 10 Temples).
adora has an awkward windup but if played into, can be a strong carry dealing massive damage in general. her sacrifice ability is dependent on who you gobble up in potency, but the other portion megabuffs her for a duration, time it right, and she's a churchill at home.
