black border

hi there i was playing bloons like always, trying to complete every single map with all the medals, i just completed that western type map in the beginner tab and i got a black border instead of the golden one. why is that? i played it from start to finish, i lost 2 times but i fully restarted the whole challenge

is the black border a bad one or is better than the golden one?

The Black Medal is unlocked if CHIMPS is beaten and the player has not exited to home and/or retried last round during the whole game. When all other medals are completed, a Red Medal will unlock a Gold Border while a Black Medal will unlock a Black Border."

So black border is better

so it means that i have to complete all previous challenges before chimps to get a black border?

To get the black border you must pass the chimps challenge without going to the menu or replaying the last round + all other challenges must be passed.

"the last round" mentioned on wiki is refering to the button iteself, not specifically the last round (r100). You cannot go to the menu or retry any round. The entire point is that you play the game flawlessly.

getting all the medals and doing chimps in one session without continuing, or resuming (going home then resuming your save) will get you a black border, the highest achievement on a map.

No, you need to redo *just* CHIMPS without quitting, restarting or retrying last round.

thanks i played the first 2 maps and got the black border, now i understand better, thanks for explaining it to me
