FULL 100% playthrough
i was thinking of doing a full 100% playthrough of the game (all medals on all tracks for single player AND co-op, beating all normal and elite bosses on all maps, 1 of every normal and elite boss week medal, top 1 percent race medal, max MK, etc.), how long do you think this would take for actual game time, and is it even possible? has anyone else ever done this before?

impossible in one sit thats for sure since theres a achievement of oppening the daily chest for a year ,and i think it would take at least 500 of in game time because this game has a lot of things to do

Admittedly, I am not super focused, but what you have written is kind of my target with that game except the CoOp medals. I am 500+ hours into it and still a good chunk away, I think. I need a lot of maps completed still, but got my achievements nearly done, at least =)

we just went over this like a week ago in discussions its like 2072? {or something like that } games just for the solo and coop black borders {so probably like 300 hours just for that}

bosses are pretty easy to get norm and elite medals for each maybe like 10-20 hours for all of em?

achievements might be a while considering the oddysius and the daily chest 1 no idea on the hours for all achievements

With 785 hours across 2 accounts, 76 combined (Some maps are the same on the accounts, so maybe more like 50-60 unique) CHIMPS black medals, all beginner, almost all intermediate, most of expert maps completed, 148/150 achievements (Sapper and Modysseus Forever) and a couple co-op black borders, max monkey knowledge, max monkey xp, 50 elite boss medals, top 1% in races, CT Global top 10% and CT Local 2nd, I can confidently say that I am nowhere near 100%.

I mean for sapper you can just boost money for paragons, then just leave the game opened and do something else. It'll still be time consuming but still better than actually playing. 100 oddys are a bit different story, but playing and replying on easy some nice ones are the key.

You can also count all types of medals (1st in global ct, races, ranked bosses etc.) for the max%, but getting all of them.. I don't want to think about it. Top 1% in races was pretty rough for me (to get the sub 3 mins achievement), i can only enjoy races until top 10%. Game becomes too punishing for even a single mistake at this point.

A lot of time, that is for sure.

Expect minimum 1 year for 100% achievements due to 365 daily prizes achievement.

At least 1000 hours over a period of minimum 1 year. Also note, that because the game continues to get updated, you'll need to continue paying attention to it weekly to check for updates and new content.

I started playing in 2020, as this isn't the only game I play it took me well into 2022 to complete the achievements to 100% and get black borders on all tracks. Since then, a couple times a year they've added more achievements and/or more maps and I play almost every weekend to do the weekly boss event and cap off new achievement additions.

I had around 1000 hours played in the first 2 years to complete everything that existed back then and another 500 hours over the next 2 years after that to keep up with new content added.

At the moment I don't have the newest tracks done in black border, I only play enough to keep the achievements 100% and finish the boss events weekly, just too many other games to play.

yeah, and fortunately the black borders are not an achievement, so I did a couple of those, and just stopped it when it started to get boring or impossible.

Im now lacking the race events, some of those tiles events, the daily chest, and a couple random ones more. The 500 golden bloons and the 100 wins with specific towers drained my passion and love for the game. They take a ton of time and repetition

I was grinding them while watching TV and catching up on some series I wanted to watch, it's boring af unless you're multitasking to complete those
DarkMoe Jun 22, 2024 @ 12:07pm
totally agreed, game is better when multitasking with another game, or something else
mitknacker Jun 22, 2024 @ 10:12pm
Well and to become really frustrating, here is something I think nobody mentioned so far, to complete this game 100% and get every black border... how about the Insta Monkes? :steamfacepalm:
