Boss Rush only multiplayer?

I read the patch notes and I'm wondering if the Boss Rush is as it states only possible to do in a team. I realy hope that is not the case cuz that would be legit the most stupid ♥♥♥♥ I have seen in a while.
This is a singleplayer game dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gate content behind multiplayer.

boss rush is a multiplayer gamemode. I don't know how you're expecting to do something designed for multiplayer without having multiplayer.

Yeah as if nobody played CT now they make something even less interesting that needs multiplayer, they dont seem to get it tbh.
