Lych Mechanics

So it seems to me that Lych only eats buffs that are temporary (and "permanent" evolutions of them), but he won't pulse and steal buffs if you only have effects that are "static", like typical village effects.

Things that get eaten:
- AMD
- Berserker brew - perma brew
- Overclock - ultraboost
- Adora's sacrifice buff
- Homeland activated ability buff (presumably he eats a lot of other activated abilities that aren't instant, but I haven't tried them all)

Things that do not get eaten:
- Village buffs that aren't call to arms or homeland defence
- group ally buffs like shinobi tactics and poplust
- Support temple buffs
- Trade empire and central market buffs to merchantmen

In testing it seems like the icons for static buffs go away while the towers affected are stunned, but I don't know if this means Lych gets any extra HP from them. Has anyone done any science to see just how much HP he gets from what effects?

I haven't tested it much but I did notice that you can see on his hp bar whether he's being healed, it bubbles with hearts if whatever he just absorbed gave him back hp. You could probably record your play session and rewatch it closely to see where he was at each point where he got healed

It eats abilities like plasma super monkey club, turbocharge, total transform...

I think the Super Monkey 0-5-0 gets eaten too.

I used the 0-5-0 Dartling Gunner Buff consistently and it didn't heal Lych.

In my runs it didn't steal any super monkey buff. Not sure what would be stolen from a 0-5-0 super, that's an instantaneous effect?

it seems like damaging specific abilities have no affect on lych healing, such as the MADs rocket barrage. Has anyone tried out the phoenix lord's ability or maybe glue gunner's splat rain or the artillery one to confirm? If not Ill try tomorrow if he's still up.

X5X wizard works and you can use that freely... However lych will drain x4x wizard when you use that ability.
