Its just a matter of time. Eventually in 2050 when the new game engine is 100x faster than what they've been using, or when sales start dipping because the game is old af, or that new idea inevitably happens, or new dev/management team steps in, they will consider it. I don't believe for a moment no matter how many times they say otherwise. It will come down to money eventually. Its either a question of when the update happens or when the game series will die.
