Lastly Bloontrap was rather unfairly able to steal all cash in Co-op games; we want to avoid dividing one player's farm earnings between the group entirely, but decided on a compromise here to prevent it from stealing that base amount.

pretty sure some people will still whine because they wanted to use the bloontrap but someone else got the better spot, but what can you do.

I believe this change will inevitably lead to people not bothering with it in the first place. If all the income from the trap is split among all players, what is even the point of having it? You're hardly getting your money back within a few waves.

It's not. It specifically says that the extra cash generated is given to the owner of the tower.

if you see it as your money and not the teams money, sure. And even then it still gives the individual extra cash.
