So apparently you can't unflag someone for using mods, HOW IN TWENTY TWENTY-FOUR DO YOU NOT HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO REMOVE A FLAG ON SOMEONE'S ACCOUNT.. I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN TWO-HUNDRED HOURS ON THIS GAME AND I'M EXPECTED TO THROW AWAY ALL MY PROGRESS BECAUSE NINJA KIWI IS INCOMPETENT AT WRITING A COUPLE LINES OF CODE TO UNFLAG SOMEONE FOR USING MODS, IF YOU CAN ADD THE ABILITY TO AUTOMATICALLY FLAG PLAYERS FOR MODIFYING THE GAME YOU CAN SURE AS HELL ADD THAT BIT OF CODE TO UNFLAG SOMEONE.

yeah no matter what if you play while you have internet with mods you will be flagged, even if you are playing singleplayer mode, only real solution is to turn off your pc's net when you load into the game.

That's a very long-winded way of saying you want to cheat in ranked and coop.

You don't have to give up anything. You can still play solo without issue, and all the flag does is match you with other flagged players online.

If you played any multiplayer content (races, CT, etc) with the mods installed or gave yourself a giant stockpile of instas/powers to spam later then frankly its on you and well deserved. If you just toyed around on a few solo maps and got bored with them (because btd has terrible mods) then theres hope yet. There are two different kinds of 'flags,' which basically separates between the 'just doing my own thing not effecting anyone' and '♥♥♥♥ your multiplayer integrity, I do what I want.'
You can always try:
completely remove all mods / loader -> uninstall btd6 -> restart PC -> reinstall btd6
Just know if u ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around in multiplayer and got found out, this isn't likely to fix that, and you may have to rely on the mercy of the ape overlords.

Thats a risk you knowingly took when modding. There is no way for them to know for sure how much of your progress is actually legitimate, and frankly its more than fair to be 'unbanned' at the cost of a total reset. Personally, the only thing I would allow to be kept is permanent mtx stuff that can be linked to an actual sale (in this case only Double Cash), and if you got caught a 2nd time there would be no forgiveness.

Not trying to be mean (this time). I'm just against effecting other players, and blunt about realistic expectations.

Make 2nd account to try mod, after logging out main. No need to risk main for no reasons.

I don't know what you expected when you modded your game. The only way you can get unflagged is if you were wrongfully flagged in the first place, which in this case you weren't so too bad about your progress

NK should add -insecure kind of system to allow play with mods and without mods
just force the game to run in offline mode with mods or add like a dlc thing for modders, sort of like tmodloader for terraria
