paragon max tier question

Wiki lists 76 as the max tier possible for singleplayer paragons without geraldo paragons, and only lists dart as an exception

My navarch came out as degree 80 on an old save, from before i even got gerlado as a hero

what gives? NOt a suuuper useful increase, for all i know an edge case involving version changes doing something weird, but mildly confusing and interesting nonetheless. M

Is it because the cap for power from "pops" actually counts money generated seperately, thus giving the navarch of the seas a double dip, in which case engi paragon could also theoretically reach this without geraldo? or is it something else?

So apparently the wiki is just a bit out of date and some tweaks to paragon caps mean that it's not quite accurate anymore. The updated details are "pending". I didn't spot that earlier.

IT probably has SOMETHING to do with the monkey money being generated, but what you're saying isn't quiiite it, i think: the old max, WITH cash, was 76, AFAIK.

But i suppose i could be wrong yet again. it's a head scratcher regardless, and whatever the tweak was and whenver it happened i'tll probably take a while for the code monkeys , whoever they are, to update the wiki XD

when the cash slider was added, they tweaked the ratios of paragon power given by various things. I don't remember the amounts that they were changed to though.

Old max was before the cash slider was introduced, and it was 76. With the cash slider and other changes, the new max is 91, or 92 with apex plasma master. This is all on the wiki btw, and when I came back like a month ago the wiki had this information, so it is up to date.

I do not understand which part of the Wiki you are referring to, but a month ago I checked the wiki. It clarifies about the Cash Slider from Patch v39.
